Psalm 28:7
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.“
Devotional
Mortal strength alone falters, but the strength granted by the Creator is unyielding. His shield is the protector in chaos, His hand the guide through darkness. Thanksgiving is the time to reflect on this divine provision—strength forged for the trials, wisdom for the unknown, and peace when the battle subsides. Honor the One who fortifies your soul and guards your path. To give thanks is to acknowledge His hand in every victory and His purpose in every struggle.
Prayer
Lord of Hosts, You are the source of my strength and the shield that defends me. I give thanks for the battles that refine me and for the courage You bestow. Grant me the wisdom to trust Your guidance and the resolve to endure with gratitude in my heart. May I walk this path with honor, giving thanks for Your unending grace and unwavering protection. In Jesus name, Amen.
Reflection
In what ways has God strengthened you and guided you through trials this year? How can you give thanks for His steadfast presence?
