1 Corinthians 15:55–57
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
🗡️ Devotional
Death was once the final enemy.
Now it’s a defeated shadow.
Christ didn’t cheat death—He crushed it.
He bore the weight of sin, descended into darkness,
and came back holding the keys to every prison.
No warrior fears what has already been conquered.
You don’t have to win. You just have to stand in what’s already been won.
The cross was the strike.
The empty tomb is the echo of war drums.
⚔️ Call to Action:
Stand in the victory of Christ.
Let no shadow of death shake you.
Let no accusation of sin bind you.
Let no fear hold dominion over you.
The King has triumphed.
You are not a slave to the grave.
You are a soldier of resurrection.
🙏 Warrior’s Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
You took the sting of death and broke its power.
You fulfilled the Law, carried my sin,
and rose so I could walk free.
Let me not waste the victory You have won.
Let me not fear what You have already defeated.
Teach my soul to stand tall and my heart to march forward,
not in my strength—but in Yours.
I give thanks, O God, for the triumph through Christ.
Let my life be the echo of His resurrection.
Let my battle cry be:
“Where, O death, is your sting?”
Amen.
