Proverbs 3:5
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
🛡️ Devotional:
A true warrior does not second-guess the voice of his commander.
He does not lean on instinct or impulse—but waits, listens, obeys.
So too must we trust the voice of the Lord, even when the path vanishes into mist, even when logic and vision fail.
Trust is the highest form of discipline.
To trust in the Lord with all your heart is to surrender the illusion of control.
To lay down your pride, and submit your strategy to the One who sees beyond time.
Your understanding is but a blade of grass in a storm.
His wisdom is the mountain that does not move.
When the world shifts beneath your feet, when your plans burn to ash, do not despair.
He has not abandoned you. He is sharpening you.
Stand still.
Stand firm.
And trust the One who never fails.
🛐 Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
I lay down my sword of pride, and take up the shield of trust.
Teach me to follow, even when the road grows dark.
Make me a warrior who walks by faith, not sight—
A soldier who does not question the command, but trusts the Commander.
I will lean not on my own wisdom, but on the strength of Your Word and the fire of Your Spirit.
Guide my steps. Steady my heart.
For You are worthy of all my trust.
In Your mighty name, I follow.
Amen.
