Reign Forever

A King Worth Fighting For

Revelation 19:16

Devotional

A warrior’s life is marked by loyalty and purpose. But not all causes are equal, and not all leaders are worthy of allegiance. Revelation 19:16 speaks of Christ as the King of kings and Lord of lords—a sovereign unlike any other. He reigns with justice and power, commanding the loyalty of those who recognize the eternal worth of His kingdom.

This King does not rule from a distant throne but fought the ultimate battle for humanity. He humbled Himself to be born in a manger, waged war against sin through sacrifice, and claimed victory over death through His resurrection. In Christ, we do not follow a distant ruler but a King who has proven His worth through action and victory.

To follow such a King is an honor. A warrior does not fight for glory or gain but for truth, justice, and a cause greater than themselves. Christ calls us to this higher battle, one fought with integrity, courage, and faith. This Christmas, pledge anew your allegiance to the King who is not only worth fighting for but worth laying everything down for.

Prayer

Lord, You are the King above all kings, worthy of my loyalty and service. Strengthen my resolve to fight for Your eternal kingdom. May I stand firm in truth, wield courage in every trial, and honor You in all I do. Amen.
